Hungarian. Wikipedia’s Vizsla entry opens with Magyar Vizsla / Hungarian Vizsla. Tucker is that breed. The cipher is a nod to the container, not a pin on the map.
The cipher is not in the poem. You do not need it to find the treasure. It is approachable: add, multiply, no math degree. Clocks are part of it (Seekers Summit). Who says the cipher is in the book?
Standard clock cipher (dcode.fr/clock-cipher). Roman vs Arabic numerals do not matter.
Each hour is a 4-letter slice of the alphabet: 12=ABCD, 1=EFGH, 2=IJKL, 3=MNOP, 4=QRST, 5=UVWX, 6=YZAB, then wrap.
Minutes pick the letter inside that slice: 00–14 first, 15–29 second, 30–44 third, 45–59 fourth.
He designed six times. Extra times slipped into the cut. At Summit he struck ~4:02 and ~5:26. Analog faces: ±1 minute is fine. “The lower number, the better.”
The six letters come out G-R-Y-A-M-A in scene order. He had no control over scene order, so anagram. MAGYAR is the intended Hungarian word. MARGAY (a wildcat) is an English-tool trap, not a designed fake.

Hidden ultrasonic message, encoded at 22,050 Hz (heterodyne / frequency-shift). Inaudible without demodulation. It is on the 3:30 single, not on the 1:01 that plays in Gold & Greed. The show cut has no hide at any timestamp. Justin posted 2:57–3:00 for the long master; on this 48 kHz file the same band sits at 2:53.8–2:56.6 — same payload, different count, not a second message. Confirmed 17 Oct 2025 so everyone has the same information.
This is the only time I will confirm what a clue is until the treasure is found. I'm doing it now to ensure a level playing field. It was intentionally the hardest, most technical puzzle in the hunt — optional expert mode. You will find the treasure without solving it. The technical clue is not the cipher and is not a nod to the container.

Checked every half-second of the 1:01, not just the clock. Netflix is DRM; this is the official DistroKid Gold & Greed Version (uzvTgCRF514, 61.02s). It is a different mix, not a crop of the 3:30 (corr 0.22). YouTube Opus dies at ~20 kHz, so a 22,050 Hz hide on that master would not survive the stream — remaining gap is a lossless 1:01. What the stream can still hold, we scanned: demodulated the whole 1:01 at 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22.05 kHz. Voice-band energy falls as the carrier goes up (music, not a line). At 22,050 Hz the best 1-second of the 1:01 is 0.47; the known hide on the 3:30 is 2.65 at 2:55. Play the 1:01 demod — hash around 2 kHz, no formants. On the lossless 3:30, 0.5s windows of 20–24 kHz: the only island that looks like speech is 2:53.8–2:56.6 (ultra 3.9, ratio 0.18). Other ratio spikes are silence at the ends, or cymbal splash (ultra ≤ 0.85). Not a second section.
MP3 is the whole 3:30 for listening. It strips the 22 kHz layer. To re-decode, use the 48 kHz mono FLAC or the 12-second hide-window WAV. The 1:01 Gold & Greed Version player is the show cut.
Reversed the 48 kHz master. Only one 22 kHz blob — the same hide, now at 0:34. Reverse-then-demod is the same sentence played backwards, not a second line. Whisper invented a different English phrase on every pass (pareidolia). “Another direction” can still be the meaning of the words. It is not a second audio payload.
22050 ÷ 42 = 525 exactly, because 22050 is half of CD’s 44100 and 42 = 2×3×7 divides that family. The tape does not cash it: no 42 Hz tone in the hide (weaker than a control bar), no 42 Hz AM wobble (envelope is 3–6 Hz speech), demod at 22050±42 still says the same line or mush, mix-down at 525 Hz is empty. Truck 42 stays Hitchhiker’s / poem-word Hole until something on the tape actually rings at 42.
Swept the lossless 3:30 end to end: every 250 Hz from 0–24 kHz, every 0.5 s, mid and side (L–R). Then heterodyned every 500 Hz carrier from 1 kHz to 23.5 kHz. Below ~16 kHz the ‘hits’ are the singing and the mix — demodulating there just recovers the song. 16–20 kHz is cymbal air. 20–24 kHz on mid: one island, 2:53.8–2:56.6, 75–94× the median, mirrored formants around 22,050 Hz. Side channel has a round glow at 2:20 — stereo hat/sibilance, no speech bars, about half the energy and the wrong shape. Reverse of the tape still only that one blob (now at 0:34). The 1:01 YouTube cut was swept the same way; it dies at ~20 kHz and has no speech-shaped island. This catch is another copy of this hide (a line heterodyned onto a carrier). It is not a decoder for LSB/phase stego or a message buried under the noise floor.
